About téchne
About
Art HappensBetweeN People
téchne creates spaces where artists, cultural workers, and audiences meet — through exhibitions, residencies, and public programmes.
What is
téchne?
téchne is a Berlin-based independent cultural initiative. We create exhibitions, screenings, public programmes, residencies, and collaborative projects that bring people together through art.
We support emerging and mid-career artists, cultural workers, and communities whose voices are often underrepresented.

What we stand for
Curiosity
We start from questions, not answers — and give ideas room to stay unfinished for a while.
Care
We value artists, cultural workers and communities. We strive to create respectful, supportive and transparent ways of working.
Collaboration
The best projects belong to everyone who made them, not to a single name on the wall.
